Our Community
From the January 2008 Kenwood Press:
In December, the Third Grade Class from Kenwood School visited Green Acres Manor to sing
and the residents loved it. According to Monica Hansen, Green Acres Owner, the students
were kind and well-mannered. Carol Cagle, the Third Grade teacher, had the students bring
holiday cards and present them to the residents. They stayed after the concert and spent
time talking with each resident. The students were then presented with homemade cookies,
made and decorated by the residents at Green Acres Manor. "We all enjoyed it so much that
we've decided to make it an annual event," said Monica.
